Welcome!  I am honoured to be Chair of the Eastern Ontario Wardens Caucus for 2012.  With Vice Chair Janet Gutowski we will continue the good work of the EOWC, and look forward to the opportunities and challenges we face in 2012.

The EOWC is a group of eleven Eastern Ontario Counties and two Single-Tier municipalities, working in conjunction with the provincial and federal governments in promoting our region and focusing on this year's EOWC priorities.

The commitment of the Caucus is to work tirelessly to improve the wellbeing of Eastern Ontario by engaging local politicians and our residents, and fostering cooperation at all levels of government in order to continue the momentum.

This year's focus will be on three main areas including economic development, legislative change and fiscal issues.  With the support of EOWC, the Eastern Ontario Regional Network project for high speed access to all of Eastern Ontario, continues to be rolled out.
