Thank you for visiting our website!  This is an exciting year for Eastern Ontario, and I am honoured to Chair and lead the group along with Vice-Chair Warden Mel Campbell as we begin to implement many initiatives and projects.

The EOWC is a group of eleven Eastern Ontario Counties and two Single-Tier municipaliteis, working together to engage senior levels of government and improve both the economy and the municipal financial position throughout the region.

This year we have determined eleven priority challenges that we will be researching & developing solutions to, such as the Farmland Tax program and the development of a Growth Plan specific to Eastern Ontario needs.

We are also looking forward to the completion of the Eastern Ontario Broadband Network, which is now underway.  The EOWC is very thankful for the Federal & Provincial partnership that has made this significant project a reality.
